For over 25 years I’ve worked across a wide range of sectors, from FMCG to technology, investment banking to the arts, and public sector organisations. Today I combine that experience with coaching and counselling skills to support people navigating change in their careers and lives.
I set up michellestromgren.com to bring these threads together, helping individuals gain clarity, build confidence and take meaningful next steps. There’s nothing better than seeing someone reconnect with their direction and energy.
My career has been varied, challenging and people-focused. I’ve worked in different sectors, environments and roles, learning how individuals grow, adapt and make decisions at key moments in their lives.
From early roles in creative and marketing teams through to leadership, consulting and mentoring, I’ve supported people at many stages, from graduates to senior executives. These experiences now inform the way I work with clients: practically, thoughtfully and with a focus on real-world change.
I’m a mum of two and have shaped my work around family. I volunteer for local and arts-based charities, mentor through the Chartered Institute of Marketing, and keep active by connecting with others wherever I can.
Nature is my reset. Despite being a city dweller, I’m often happiest walking in woodland, heading towards a lake, or climbing a hillside. I read widely and love film and the arts. I’m also a perpetual student, always learning, developing and naturally bringing people together. That balance between pace and reflection shapes how I work with others.
